The core values of passion, curiosity, a sense of humor, and kindness guide my teaching and therapeutic philosophy. I believe in building exceptional voices with precision but without pressure through experimentation, guided exploration, and accurate and accessible information about how the voice works.
A healthy balance between voice science and voice artistry is at the heart of my teaching. Rote adherence to a static set of exercises serves no one well. I encourage students to understand why I choose certain voice tasks, not just how. In this way, I build confident, independent singers and speakers who have mastery over their vocal future.
My special areas of interest:
I don't accept insurance in my private studio. If you want to access your medical insurance for voice therapy, consider finding me at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
